Garda Hotel is located in the most beautiful part of Szombathely, next to the Boating Lake, the City Indoor Swimming Pool and the Thermal Bath. In 2015 the hotel was fully renovated, the bedrooms and the interior were designed by an interior designer, and our services and the quality were improved. Currently we operate as a 3-star hotel.
The architecture and the nature of the hotel provide a friendly atmosphere, our guests receive professional hospitality and yet they can feel as being at home. In summer, a pleasant breakfast terrace, a sunny and shaded garden, in winter a fireplace and soft music will complete the time you spend with us. The priority of our staff of qualified caterers is the comfort of our guests.
Our rooms range from larger, elegant rooms equipped with air conditioning to smaller, friendly rooms at lower price.
During the renovation our aim was to design a sleep-friendly hotel, the sizes of our beds are 200 × 90 cm and 180 x 200 cm; all the beds come with a minimum 20 cm thick, professional mattress. All rooms are blackout – they are equipped with fully blackout curtains.
